Are you thinking Martial Arts would be good for your child? If so please read this page, as we believe you won’t need to look any further.
Or for those of you that have a child training a Martial Art, ask yourself the following question.
On a scale of 1-10, how happy are you with the way it’s going? If it’s a 10, well stop reading right here as we don’t want to waste any more of your time. If it’s not a 10 well maybe it’s time to try something new. Or ask yourself, doesn’t your child deserve it to be a 10? If that’s a yes, then let me give you a quick overview of our Kids Wing Chun classes. This is no more than a 3-minute read.
Learning Martial Arts for most Kids will help with many of life’s challenges however our program is designed to fully equip your child with all the tools needed to face whatever comes his or her way.
Before launching our kid’s classes we thought long and hard about how to give you the best experience in every class while making sure you got the very best training possible for your child. Below is a quick insight into how we do this.
1) ANTI BULLYING TACTICS
We’d love to say just shouting at a bully will work, but in reality, this won’t really do much. Of course, fighting back is the last thing we teach, however, if “push comes to shove” then your child will be able to protect themselves which deep down most parents we talked to said they would feel comfortable knowing this was the case.
2) SELF DISCIPLINE AND SELF CONTROL
Learning Martial Arts should also instil a sense of self-discipline and control. Knowing the difference between right and wrong and learning how to control emotions like anger and rage. We teach children importance of being polite to people around them, especially parents and teachers at school.
3) FOCUS AND CONCENTRATION
Your child’s focus and concentration will improve through training with us, this can lead to having a positive effect on school work or simply being more present and aware. One of the first rules we teach is self-awareness, not only while with friends but also when walking by yourself.
1) KIDS GRADING ARE 100% FREE! YES… FREE!
We understand costs can add up so this is our way of helping. All children will still receive a certificate once passing a grade. Gradings are a great way to improve a child’s confidence and show a mark of progression. We don’t agree with most schools who charge you an extra fee for this achievement.
2) SIMPLE PRICE POINTS NO “UPSELLS”
All the costs will be made clear from the start, in fact we don’t hide them, they are listed right on this page. We have one price point with no hidden charges. We don’t charge more a few months in, or as your child moves up the ranks. We don’t have an “advanced” or “basic” program as we teach and treat your child the best way we know how from the first class. You’ll be confident from day 1 knowing exactly how much the training will cost you.
3) NO CONTRACTS
All we ask is for is 1 months notice if you decide our classes are not for you. You won’t be tied into any type of contract we believe you’ll be happy to stay with us, because you want to not because you have to!
4) LIMITED STUDENTS PER CLASS KEEPING THE HIGHEST QUALITY
Our classes are not a numbers game, and we aim to have a balanced instructor/student ratio so your children get the most out of our classes. Our instructors all hold the latest fully enhanced DBS checks, and they are all First Aid trained.
5) 100% WING CHUN!
We’ve seen a lot of children’s classes claiming to teach Wing Chun, yet most of the classes are filled up with non-Wing Chun weapon forms, or drills taken from other Arts. While it might be an easy approach to filling time in the classes, we felt that we would be doing your child a disservice. We teach pure Wing Chun, and also include the Luk Dim Poon Kwan (6 and a half point long pole) in the final phase of our children’s programme (normally not taught until much later in the adult syllabus.) Our aim is to teach the system so if your child continues to train into his or her teens they can join our adult classes without having to relearn from the start.
If any of this sounds like something you’re interested in, or you would like to find out more, all you need to do is contact us and we’ll give your child a free lesson, where you can meet the team, ask any questions you may have and see if our classes are for you and your child.
We value every member and really hope you take the time to try our classes for free before making an important choice on your child’s safety.
